MyHolyHero is a small Catholic apostolate founded by Luke McCann in partnership with the AMDG Core Team. We built this site to help people pray with specific intercessors on the path to canonization, and to support the causes of beatification by drawing attention to lesser-known holy lives.
What we do
A practice in one direction.
The Holy See requires a miracle attributed to a single intercessor before a person is beatified or canonized. We make it easier to choose one and stay with them — daily, for as long as you want.
Why this exists
Quiet causes need attention too.
Carlo Acutis was a teenager you'd never heard of. Now the Catholic Church has canonized him. There are hundreds of lives like his, waiting. Some have been waiting for centuries.
Each Holy Hero you'll find here is a real person whose cause is either formally open with the Church or quietly carried by a local community. We do the research. You do the praying. And if heaven answers — you tell us, and the Church listens.
